Chrome Web Store listing coming soon

Capture the page. Name the goal. Get one email when it is true.

Highlight the price, the “sold out” label, or a clause you care about. The PulseNotice extension saves the URL, title, and selected text so you are not copy-pasting into a form. After that, our cloud checks the public page on your plan cadence — even if Chrome is closed.

  1. Open the public page you want to watch.
  2. Select the text that should ground the extractor (a price, “in stock”, a job title).
  3. Open PulseNotice, write a one-sentence goal, save the monitor.
  4. We email you when that goal is newly true — not when a banner rotates.

Until the store listing is live, you can load an unpacked build if you already have the repo. Shoppers can skip that and create the same monitor from the dashboard.

Local capture, cloud checks

In the browser

The extension does not poll the page in the background. It is a capture tool: URL, title, selected text, then the same save flow as the website.

On our servers

Hourly on Free, faster on paid plans. HTTP first; Playwright only on Pro+ / Team when the HTML is a JS shell. No login replay, no CAPTCHA solve.

FAQ

Does the Chrome extension watch the page while my laptop is closed?

No. The extension captures URL, title, and selected text so you do not have to paste them. After you save, PulseNotice’s cloud checks the public URL on your plan cadence — whether or not the browser is open. The extension is not a local-only watcher.

Are extension monitors different from dashboard monitors?

No. Capture is just a faster way to fill the same form. The monitor, history, and email are the same objects you see at pulsenotice.com after you sign in.

Can you watch pages behind a login?

No. We only fetch public URLs. We do not store your site passwords, replay sessions, solve CAPTCHAs, or send cookies to origin servers. If the page requires a login, it is out of scope — by design, not as a missing feature.

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. The Free plan is five monitors, hourly checks, and email alerts with no credit card. You only enter a card if you upgrade through Stripe.

For developers: load unpacked

This is optional. Most people should wait for the Chrome Web Store listing or use the dashboard.

  1. From the repo: cd extension && npm install && npm run build.
  2. Chrome → chrome://extensions → Developer mode → Load unpacked → extension/dist.
  3. Sign in against the API (http://localhost:8000 locally, or the production API host).
